Adding/Modifying Multiple Choice

Adding a multiple choice question and answers is fairly straight forward.
Multiple Choice questions are automatically scored at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Enter the number of Answers you want and click Add Question (if you add extra and don't fill them out, it will not add those fields)


3) Enter the text and/or image for the question and the text and/or image for the answers. Select what answer is the correct one with the Correct Answer dropdown. Enter the amount of points the answer is worth.

4) Click Add Question. The question and answers will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Adding/Modifying Multiple Selection

Adding a multiple selection question and answers is fairly straight forward.
Multiple Selection questions are automatically scored at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Enter the number of Answers you want and click Add Question (if you add extra and don't fill them out, it will not add those fields)


3) Enter the text and/or image for the question and the text and/or image for the answers. Select what answers are the correct one with the Correct Answer dropdown. Enter the amount of points the answers are worth.

4) Click Add Question. The question and answers will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Adding/Modifying Double Ended

Adding a double ended question and answers is fairly straight forward.
Double Ended questions are automatically scored at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Click Add Question


3) Enter the text for the questions and the text for the answer. Enter the amount of points the answers are worth.

4) Click Add Question. The question and answer will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Adding/Modifying Essay/Short Answer

Adding an essay and short answer question is fairly straight forward.
Essay and Short Answer questions are must be scored at the end of the quiz by a judge. The ACP has an option to create a thread in a forum when the quiz is complete to let the judges know a quiz is awaiting judging.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions you have, along with the question type and edit/delete buttons


2) Click Add Question


3) Enter the text and/or image for the question.
The character length for the answer is specified in the ACP
The points for the question are specified during the judging.

4) Click Add Question. The question will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Adding/Modifying Matching

Adding a matching question and answers is fairly straight forward.
Matching questions are automatically scored at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Enter the number of Answers you want and click Add Question (if you add extra and don't fill them out, it will not add those fields)


3) Enter the text and/or image for the question and the text and/or image for the answers. Enter the matching answers text and/or image in whatever order you want. Enter the matching answers letter into the Correct Letter field on the left. Enter the amount of points the answer is worth.
The matching answer will be displayed in the order you put it in, so do not match the answer on the left with the answer on the right. Use the Letter designators to match them together.

4) Click Add Question. The question and answers will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Adding/Modifying Result Generator

Adding a result generator question, results and answers is fairly straight forward.
Result Generator questions are automatically generated at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions and results you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Click Add Result


3) Enter the Title, Text and Result Image. Click Add Result

Repeat this for all results you wish to use.

4) Enter the number of Answers you want and click Add Question (if you add extra and don't fill them out, it will not add those fields)

5) Enter the text and/or image for the question and the text and/or image for the answers. Select the result that matches up with the answer. Enter the amount of points the answer is worth.

6) Click Add Question. The question and answers will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Adding/Modifying Adv Result Generator

Adding an advanced result generator question, results and answers is a bit involved.
Use this instead of the Result Generator quiz if you want to set multiple variables for each question answer.
Advanced Result Generator questions are automatically generated at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions and results you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Click Add Result


3) Enter the Title, Variable, Text and Result Image. Click Add Result

Repeat this for all results you wish to use.

4) Enter the number of Answers you want and click Add Question (if you add extra and don't fill them out, it will not add those fields)

5) Enter the text and/or image for the question and the text and/or image for the answers. Because the answers have not been added to the database yet you cannot assign the variable values. We will do that after.

6) Click Add Question. The question and answers will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.


7) Now that the question has been added, edit the question from the main question screen by clicking on the wrench image.

8) Select the variable you want for each answer from the dropdown.


9) Once the variable has been selected a field will show to add the value for that variable. Enter the value and click Save.


10) The dropdown will be refreshed with the added value. Repeat this for each variable you wish to have a value.

Adding/Modifying Personality

Adding a personality question and answers is fairly straight forward.
Personality questions are automatically generated at the end of the quiz.

1) Select the Modify Questions button from the quiz view page.
The following screen will show you any current questions you have, along with the question type, number of answers it has and edit/delete buttons


2) Enter the number of Answers you want and click Add Question (if you add extra and don't fill them out, it will not add those fields)


3) Enter the text and/or image for the question and the text and answer result for the answers. When the quiz is taken the text displayed to the user will be built from the answer results linked to the answers they selected.

4) Click Add Question. The question and answers will be added to the database and you will be returned to the main question page.

Select this option if you would like your search to look in the text of FAQ items as well as their titles.

Select an option here to specify how you would like your search query to be treated. 'Any words' will return the most numerous but possibly least relevant results, while 'Complete phrase' will return only results that contain exactly what you are searching for.
